CASTEL developed solutions allowing to comply with disabled people accessibility regulations in “establishments servicing the public”, which must be able to welcome, inform and ensure the safety of people with disabilities.

The French law requires public buildings to make their facilities accessible to all people with disabilities: integrated magnetic loops, visual intercoms, appropriate contrast, intuitive pictograms, etc.
At CASTEL, we incorporate this requirement into the design of our solutions to ensure that our access control solutions are inclusive!

Where an access control system or a car park exit exists, the system enables deaf, hearing or speech impaired people to report their presence to the staff and to be informed that their call is taken into account. Individually and with a non direct view by the staff of those accesses or exits:

In case of an electric locking device, it must allow disabled people to reach the door and start the opening operation until the door relocks. Door unlock button shall be marked with visual and tactile warnings.
