History

1970 - Creation of the company HOFFMANN :
    -> Professional intercom #1 in France.


1985 - Took over of the company HOFFMANN by the group BARPHONE.
The HOFFMANN team integrates the company AST Électronique.


1993-95 - ATT & BARPHONE merge to become LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES, telecom worldwide leader.


1995 - LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES decides to concentrate its activities on telecom , AST Électronique General Manager creates the company CASTEL which integrates the AST Électronique team.


2004 - Intercom and access control goes IP: launch of IP MAYLIS and VDIP ranges (Voice, data, image and access control over IP).


2010 - CASTEL’s latest developments in IP professional intercom: XELLIP, a global Full IP intercom access and audio video intercommunication solution.
